Waxwing
Will be exhibited at the Great Sheffield Art Show
June 29 - July 1, 2012.
The Waxwing is not a common visitor to our garden but I was lucky enough to have just one come during the harsh winter of 2010.
The image of this beautiful bird lingered in my mind and I think the only way to celebrate their grace is to capture it in my painting.
